Omar Faaruuq Foundation was established to address the needs of the people affected by conflict after the fall of the former Somali’s government. The organization is registered in Southern and Central regions of Somalia. Technical competence Omar Faaruuq Foundation has a Program Director, full-time Program Officers, and a technical steering committee for project proposal development and implementation. They also focus on capacity building for key community members.
Omar Faaruuq Foundation uses a participatory approach, consulting with community representatives for qualitative and quantitative data collection. Progress reports and periodic planning are provided to identify project shortcomings steering committee as well as tasked to develop and advise on organizational strategies and deliver appropriate tools and relevant forward information in any given project implementation.
